LOVE STORY

You've been a thousand things to as many people:
Reflections of what they wanted to reach, to have or avoid.
A stepping-stone, an instrument, an unintentional reminder.
A flickering image or a figmentation in passing-
Which one real? But before long - they'll return to the void.
Each imprint not yours or theirs to keep or to frame.
Through fingertips will slip both praises and blame,
One day soon...
When whitering steals the bloom.
A hundred ideas you birthed and fought for
To meet a vacant space in the middle
And dozens of times you scooped off the floor
A handful of dust of what could have been,
Packed up and moved on-
Beyond the horizon of hope.
In search of the purest oracle
You slipped and stumbled-
Lost in mirage, seduced by twilight,
To return to the inner miracle.
All but to reach this simple reflection.
This focal point of NOW you.
To find THIS precious connection.
Having seen the sea for the storms,
The dune for the shifting sand-
Having let the winds die down-
And from the deepest depth
Re-claiming your invisible crown.
Long journey home where you belong.
Unconditional acceptance-
Smiles and tears, the weak and the strong...
Seeing for the first time what was there all along
Waiting for you to come back home-
And receive yourself -
Fully and W-Holy.
The beginning of a true Love story...
