PURIFIED

Stripping off all "SHOULDs"
"WOULD-BEs" dissolved in thin air
"NEEDs" left to melt in glaring sun
"WANTs" dismembered- yearnings laid bare.

Whatever was held onto-
Thrown into the purifying fire.
Opening all windows on yesterday's shelter-
Moving out of the House of Desire.
Whatever lived there- is no more...

There is no destination for the Purified Spirit
No journey to prepare for,
But peace with all that comes and flows.
Finally alive... Translucent to the core.

Light and empty.
Moving into the presence -
Where all is mirrored
Through the depth of resonance.

From fear's clench finally unchained.
Feverish impulses to grasp, to know-
Are let to drown in flood of freedom.
Clarity of vision looms, unveiled.

Break old containers.
Resist the pull to contain Exploration.
Bury "why's" and "wherefore's".
Whatever springs out of the naked flame,
In absence of expectation- purified,
Is meant to grow...will remain.

Shadowless new shapes emerge
Radiating the truth devoid of shields.
And now life WRITES you!
Freed to dance, you move
Onwards, beyond those distant fields
